Under 15s Go Paint Balling

On Sat 7th June the U15 1st Team and Reserves celebrated the end of the 2008 season by going Paint balling. 40 people found themselves deep in the woods of Hertfordshire at an old USAF Air Base at 9.15 am for a days combat.

Only two had been before, so we learn't a lot in the first few games - not least to conserve ammo. Everyone was doing a Rambo in the first hour spraying shots everywhere. Also, that a paint ball pellet hurts so best to duck or take shelter behind the various defences!

The action was non stop - 6 games in the morning and a stop for a BBQ lunch then back into the afternoon action with another 4 games; the last two being double time to really test our endurance.

Everyone had a great time and a couple of pics below show the U15 SWAT Team all kitted up plus one of the group ready to depart for home at 4.30pm.

The day saw some new characters emerge within the U15 Squad,

Richard 'Redmist'Lake
Kamikaze Bomber Clare
Al 'Who are you - Oh its my daughter!'
Kelly 'Rambo' Doherty
Dan the Ammo Man (a walking munitions dump - paint grenades, flash bangs, smoke bombs - he had the lot!)
Jacqui 'The Bruiser'
Dunny 'what's a safety catch - oops sorry'
Kellie and Kim 'the deadly stalkers' aka 'he's fit'

We all want home with a few bruises but overall the day was fantastic
