A hard fought match in which The Belles came out on top, but only just. Hayley Watson proved to be a match winner at both ends of the pitch. She scored the only goal of the game in the first half. Then after regular keeper Katie Dickerson left the field at half time due to illness Hayley took over in goal. She then pulled off a dramatic save with virtually the last kick of the game to preserve the lead. After suffering a heavy defeat in the opening game The Belles have continued to show signs of improvement, especially in defence with four consecutive clean sheets
