The result would suggest a tight hard fought game, and that is exactly what it was, but in truth The Belles made it hard work for themselves. The slick passing football from last week just did not happen this week, but it is still the mark of a good team when you have a bad day at the office but come out with three points. Katie Davis scored a goal in either half, Nicole Jennings pulled off a magnificent save to preserve the lead just before half time. At the back Heather and Alexia had outstanding games, but they could not prevent Garston from pulling a goal back with two minutes left for play. There were no futher scares and The Belles maintain their one hundred per cent record.
