| The Luton Town Ladies and Girls
teams are seeking new players at all levels to further raise the Club's
profile at regional and national level.
The first team compete in the third level, where they again improved their league position, to finish sixth, while the reserve team won their third successive promotion. To be eligible to play at senior level you must be aged 16 or above or come along training until your 16th birthday.
The youth section is entirely based in the competitive Home Counties Girls League and it is intended that a team will compete in every age group from Under-9s to Under-16s next season. We are especially interested in recruiting Under-9, Under-10, Under-12 and Under-16 players although there is always room for talented and dedicated players in any squad. The Club has its own clubhouse and has a number of other benefits. The Club is running trials for all squads throughout June so please contact Dave Baker at lutonbelles@hotmail.com for details. Meanwhile, a number of the ladies squads reported back for their pre-season training last week and were presented with their new Puma strips.
Dave Baker, who runs the Luton Ladies squad, said: "We are thankful to the Club and Cherry Newbery for providing us with the new strip for the forthcoming season. "We always want our girls to represent Luton
Town Football Club in the correct way and the new kit gives us a more
professional approach when we travel around the country." |
