When this brief history was first written in autumn of 2000 we stated that a year is a long time, but it can be a lifetime in girls and women's football as things are growing and evolving so quickly. As far as we are concerned a lot has happened in the past twelve months and the high level of success we have enjoyed continued. We broke new ground by entering our Under 15 team in the highly competitive Hertfordshire Girls League. However our highly talented Under 15 squad swept all before them and won the Championship with an unbeaten record, and were denied a possible League and Cup Double with the abandonment of the League Cup competition. The Milton Keynes League saw the League and Cup Double being won at Under 12 and Under 16. The Under 14 Championship was won, but any hopes of a double were dashed when the League Cup Final was lost after a penalty shoot out. The Under 10`s were runners up in both League and Cup. Once again we hosted The Milton Keynes League Cup Finals Day. Off the field a radical step was taken when we forged a link with Luton Town. More about that as we go into the future
